The Team
Dr. Kelly Davids
Co-Founder & GENERAL PRACTITIONER
Dr. Kelly Davids is a compassionate and highly skilled medical doctor with a deep-rooted passion for paediatric healthcare. As the co-founder of Little Hearts Medicare, she is dedicated to creating a healthcare environment where children receive expert, holistic, and family-centered medical care.
Dr. Davids earned her MBChB from Stellenbosch University in 2015 and has since built extensive experience in paediatric emergency medicine at Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital. Her expertise spans neonatal and paediatric life support, obstetric ultrasonography, and point-of-care sonography, equipping her to handle both acute and preventive paediatric care. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Child Health and a Post graduate Diploma in HIV Management. She is currently completing her dispensing licence, further solidifying her commitment to children's health
Dr. Davids' personal motto, "Never give up till your good is better, and your better is best!", reflects her relentless drive for excellence in medical care, continuous learning, and her unwavering dedication to improving the lives of children.
Dr. Tamaryn Green
Co-Founder & GENERAL PRACTITIONER
Dr. Green is a passionate medical doctor and devoted mother with a deep commitment to child health. She firmly believes in a holistic approach to paediatric care, focusing not only on the medical well-being of children but also on their emotional and social development.
Graduating with an MBChB from the University of Cape Town in 2019,
Dr. Green’s enthusiasm for pediatric healthcare guided her community service in pediatrics. She further honed her expertise by obtaining a Diploma in Child Health and Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of child care.
Beyond her medical career, Dr. Green is the former Miss South Africa 2018. Her journey in the public eye has given her a unique platform to advocate for health, wellness, and education, especially for young children and their families.
As a new mom herself, Dr. Green understands firsthand the joys and challenges that come with parenting.
With an optimistic outlook and a patient, caring demeanor, Dr. Green believes that something positive can come from every situation making her approach to child care both nurturing and empowering.
Through Little Hearts Medicare, we envision a legacy of helping children, innovation, and community-centered pediatric healthcare, where every child receives the care they deserve in an environment designed just for them.
A Holistic Team for Comprehensive Paediatric Care
We take a multidisciplinary approach to child health, working alongside a network of allied healthcare professionals, including:
· Occupational Therapist – Assisting with developmental milestones and sensory challenges.
· Speech Therapist – Supporting children with speech, language, and communication skills.
· Lactation Specialist– Providing guidance to mothers on breastfeeding and infant nutrition.
· Dietitian – Offering expert nutritional advice for children’s growth and well-being.
· Chiropractor - Supporting through gentle spinal care to improve comfort, movement ,imbalances and overall wellbeing.
· Physiotherapist - Helping build strength, movement and coordination through tailored therapy and play-based rehabilitation
Our Support Team
From the front desk to the consultation room, our receptionist, nurses and administrative staff work tirelessly to ensure that every visit is smooth, stress-free, and child-friendly. They play a key role in maintaining our high standards of patient care and making sure families feel valued and heard.
